I sent her head off for a face-up when I came across a MNF A-line body for sale on DOA also. Of course I purchased that, since what can a head do without a body. I just got her head back today and just love the face up she received. Can't wait to get started on a larger size clothing. I get a little frustrated sometimes with the tiny work so this will be a nice relief every now and then.

I did it again.
Well I just couldn't resist this cute head that came up for sale of DOA. She is a Minifee Juri 2013 from Fairlyland. My 1st non-tiny and also 1st floating head. I figured I would eventually get her a body but didn't know how soon.

Finally…More Items at my Etsy Store.
I really have been slacking. I haven't put anything new in my Etsy store for quite some time. Life has been busy. Though I finally found some time to do what I enjoy…knit for my doll's.
Just in time for the cold weather.

New Eyes for my Bunny!
These are called Merlins Magic. I couldn't make up my mind on what color but I am so happy with these.

And yet again, here grows the BJD family!
I haven't updated this blog in awhile. I have been too busy to make anything for my dolls. Between my sons moving on in life (Army Bootcamp, high school graduation, a Wedding, Marine Bootcamp) and working 1 & 1/2 jobs I have been to busy to play. Finally, I have an empty house and a sense of getting back to normalcy. I am hoping I will have a few moments to start to create again. I have accumilated several naked dolls that are begging for clothes.
I just got my newest one today. She is Lati Yellow's Bat Children Lumi (Banya). Of course, I have no clothes for her. Though I did get her so I would have a model to make clothes for and to sell on my Etsy shop. This is what I tell myself so I can collect these cuties.
I had also bought a Tokissi Dasom bunny. I just love bunnies! She looks creepy without eyes but I do have some on order and am currently awaiting their arrival.
So here is my naked crew now. From left to right I have a Tokissi Dasom Bunny, Fairyland RealPuki Tyni (normal skin), Garden of Dolls Tiny Elf Nabiyette (white skin), Lati Yellow Bat Children Lumi (tan skin), & Bambicrony Ciao Bella Ozzy's Child Sisly (tan skin). Hopefully, this weekend I will get back to making clothing for this crew and to sell on Etsy.

Growing Family of BJD's
My BJD family keeps growing. I got my Fairyland Tyni this week. Plus, I bought a used Bambicrony Ciao Bella Sisley Ozzy's Child mold this month too. I am still waiting on my LatiYellow to arrive. It will be another month or so before she arrives. She will help close the gap in the sizing between Nabiyette and Bambicrony. I like to have stair step in sizes so I can make a variety of items. Now I just have to get to work.

Far left is Fairyland's Real Puki Tyni (aka Nimbus), Tiny Elf Nabiyette by Garden of Dolls (aka Luna) then on the right is Bambicrony Ciao Bella Sisley (aka Gabby) |
I think I have an addiction to these cute little cuties. Each one is so unique in her/his own way. They are all considered tines in the BJD world. Gabby (Bambicrony Ciao Bella) is the tallest at 27cm. Not quite the height of a barbie doll. Also, I realize that I unintentionally purchased three different skin tones . Nimbus is normal skin, Luna is white skin and Gabby is tan skin. Though my LatiDoll Yellow will also be tan skin. I need more color in my life.
Now I just have to get busy with sewing, knitting and crocheting!

Another BJD Ordered
Okay, I haven't even received my Tyni from Fairyland yet and I have already ordered another. This lovely below is a Latidoll Yellow Bat Child ver. Lumi. She was just way to cute I couldn't resist.
I need a variety of dolls in order to create clothing in different sizes or at least that is my reasoning to collect these lovely BJD's. I have really been slacking on the knitting, crocheting and sewing lately.
Today I crocheted a short sleeve sweater that I decided I didn't like and unraveled it before I finished it off. Then I started on a tiny teddy that I unraveled. I can't seem to be satisfied with anything I have created lately. I have been doing this for weeks now. I did manage to finish a knitted dress last week that needs blocking and snaps but it has flaws that make it unsellable. It is too big for my tiny Nabiyette so maybe my new girl above will be able to wear it. I will just have to save it for her.
Hopefully, I will get busy soon and start making more items for my Etsy store. I have to follow through on my reasoning for purchasing these new dolls so I won't be lying to myself on why I NEED them. (Ha, Ha!)

Luna 's new blanket
Here is Luna's new granny square blanket I made last week.
I didn't make it as small as I wished so I had to use less squares than I had planned to make it smaller. I had planned on 4x5 squares and ended up doing 3x4. I am going to have to get out my embroidery thread and see if I can crochet with that.
Here are the 4 different squares I used in the above blanket.

Luna is Back
Luna is back from getting her face-up done. If I had a better camera or was any good at taking pictures, you could actually see what a great job Iza did.
While I was waiting for Luna to return from her face-up I knitted her a new dress so she had something pretty to show off her new face in.

BJD time
A little update in my world of BJD's. I have be-headed my Luna and sent her off for an official face-up. Can't wait to see how she turns out. It will be like getting a new doll! I will have to post pics when she gets back home.

Speaking of new dolls, I broke down and ordered a Real Puki "Tyni"last week. (pictures is from FairyLand @ http://dollfairyland.com/shop/step1.php?number=503 )
He has such a cute long nose! Now I have to wait about 10 weeks for him to get here. Yuck!
New Sweaters for my Etsy Story
I made 3 Blythe size sweaters this weekend that will eventually make it to my Etsy store. I just need to take some pictures and get them uploaded.
However, it is actually off season for sweaters in stores now; so, I may just have to hold onto them until next year when it is sweater season again. It is time for spring fashion but I just can't get in the mood to make spring/summer clothes.
But I did make some Bunnies!
Two where about 1 foot tall and then of course I had to go smaller and make one about 5 inches tall (above). I was having fun adding hair to the big ones and then decided to line the ears and feet with cute fabric. This one may end up at my Etsy shop around Easter. I need to make a few more. The bigger ones didn't turn out too good. I am too embarrassed to even post their pics.
